Great simple, economic hotel! The hotel is right in the thick of the city & like everywhere in Oaxaca, it has some noise from day to day life. But the design around the central courtyard definitely helps with noise reduction. The room was simple and clean and the staff was superb. The little coffee shop/restaurant downstairs is wonderful; in fact I had the best cafe de olla anywhere here! Absolutely great value!
The hotel has a great location if you don't want to stay right in the center. The room has everything you need: a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. Fresh water is provided in the room every day. Gustavo y Fernanda are the best So friendly. We felt very welcome right from the start. Every day a friendly smile and a pleasant conversation. I will definitely book my next overnight stay in Oaxaca city here again.
Had a superb stay there. Everyone is very helpful and Fernanda at the reception goes above and beyond to assist. The room was spacious and clean with a good size shower, aircon and fresh bottled water each day. My balcony was facing the main road so naturally there was noise from cars. I had my earplugs (don't come to Mexico without them) so slept like a baby anyway. 10 mins walk to the main square with shops, bars and restaurants on the way. The area was safe day and night so overall a great experience for the price.
Beautiful clean small hotel located only 15min walk from Centro. Beds look clean and comfortable. The front desk was cordial and fast check-in. However, the hotel is located on the main road that goes to Centro, so it is very loud even at night. The hotel itself is really nice, and well priced.
Cesar was a great host during our visit. The hotel is very nice but still a little noisy in the rooms heading the street ... stil quiet enough to rest. People smoking in the hotel smells all over the place, that's not nice. Good food deals in the restaurant. We spent 5 days there and although downtown is walking distance, is not that close from Santo Domingo church & other atractions so, you better leave your car in the hotel-parking to avoid expensive parkinglot payment in the city. We'll surely come back during Gelaguetza.
